New steel framing and ductwork have been installed on the east wing of the third floor.

The suspended ceiling and some walls in the former restrooms in the House Chambers have been removed.

To strengthen the Capitol's foundation, workers have removed the concrete floors down to the soil and have used underpinning techniques.
