The Capitol is open for self- guided tours 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. As one of 20 state Capitols designated as National Historic Landmarks and with a history that dates back to 1888, known as the People’s House, the Wyoming Capitol is the seat of Wyoming’s Executive and Legislative branches of government. Finished in three phases, the state completed its first comprehensive four-year restoration in 2019.
