Re-dedication of the Capitol Cornerstone

The Grand Lodge A.F. & A.M. of Wyoming re-dedicated the Capitol cornerstone on July 10.

The Masons held the original dedication of the Capitol cornerstone on May 18, 1887. The cornerstone reads:

Laid by the Grand Lodge, A.F. & A.M.
A.L. 5287, A.D. 1887.
N.R.Davis, Grand master.

Many historic buildings in the United States have Masonic cornerstones, including the U.S. Capitol, which was laid by President George Washington.
