The exterior of the Herschler Building has been replaced to addresses major maintenance issues, including water infiltration, corrosion, wall gaps, and rotting window blocks. The new exterior design is more complementary to the Capitol.

The Herschler Building is being renovated and expanded to house functions that were displaced from the Capitol.
