The invasive infrastructure work in the Senate Chamber included new piping and ductwork above the ceiling on the third floor. That work created an opportunity to restore the historic paint schemes from 1917 and repair and return the beautiful woodwork to match its historic finishes.

The historic paint schemes and original woodwork are being restored in the Senate Chamber. This chamber was part of the 1917 addition to the Capitol.
